In the "early days," Brad and I often played at the University of Dayton coffee house which was held in the basement of Frisch's on Stewart Street. His partner, Steve Hartman played flute. Brad played an Ovation 12-string guitar and often set poems (ee cummings) to music. He also made amazing fluglehorn sounds with his mouth.
