"My First CD is now available. I believe I have created a new sound in music. One that incorporates digital music with live drums. The music itself proposes concepts that are not traditionally nor commercially part of the usual formula we are trained to repeat. I have not eliminated nor avoided the theory and skill involved in American Music, but have taken that information and expanded upon it. 1. There is a rhythm within the rhythm. 2. There is a beat, there is no beat. 3. Intuition and spontaneity applied to form. 4. Lyrics are poetry and poetry is a realm unto itself. 5. The various sections of music are expressions of moods or hues. My hope is that this music will inspire and encourage other musicians to think and create outside the box, so that music can move forward.
